The Football Association of Ireland has unveiled the new Ireland 2023 home kit.

Recently assigned official kit supplier Castore has designed the new kit, drawing inspiration from the 1985 jersey donned by Paul McGrath during his international debut.

The Jolly green shirt features the country's colours on both the sleeve cuffs and neckline.

The new crest prominently displays a three-leaf clover, underscored by the Tricolour, honouring Ireland's most iconic symbols. The word "EIRE" lends a patriotic touch to the back neck, while the Castore wings finalise the ensemble.

Hate the design, should only have white trim no orange. There was nothing wrong with the last badge. Now we are back to shamrocks & shillelaghs .Castore material is a disaster. Really disappointed with this effort. What else should we expect from the FAI ? Another few campaigns of disappointment 🤢🤢🤮

Not bad, but I had really hoped for more. The new crest is ok, but looks a bit like a knock-off attempt from a St Patricks day street vendor (really hope they can brush it up in the near future). I like the simplicity of the kit and also like the green and white piping, but wish the piping had been put all over the shirt; not just the front. The collar I never like when it is cut off like that in the middle and the green and orange encases in white looks strange. Hopefully a cool looking number will make these more attractive.
