Adidas and the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) have unveiled the new Italy home kit for the 2026 World Cup cycle, continuing the partnership between the German brand and the Azzurri.
The adidas shirt features a blue base enhanced with a tonal pattern inspired by laurel wreaths, historically used in ancient Rome as a symbol of victory and honour. Subtle gold detailing highlights the shoulders and sleeve trim, connecting to Italy’s long history of success on the world stage.
The chest displays the updated FIGC crest alongside a gold adidas logo applied using a heat-transfer technique. On the back of the collar, the word Azzurra is inscribed as a nod to the nation’s nickname.
Engineered for comfort and performance, the jersey integrates adidas’ latest Climacool+ technology to promote ventilation and moisture control. The lightweight construction includes strategically placed mesh panels to support airflow during intense play. The full home kit is completed with white shorts featuring gold side stripes and blue trim, and blue socks. This design will be worn by Italy’s national teams throughout the 2026 campaign.
