This is the new Kawasaki Frontale Away (“2nd”) shirt.
The 2023 secondary design by Puma - part of the “Celebrating the Roots” campaign - has seven grey stripes spread diagonally on a section of the trunk’s cream base.
Nodding to releases from the past, the stripes represent the seven wards of the city of Kawasaki, and the shirt, with its black sleeve cuffs, will be combined with black shorts and cream socks as first choice in Japanese J1 League matches.
