This is the new Kawasaki Frontale home (“1st”) shirt.
The 2023 primary design by Puma - part of the “Celebrating the Roots” campaign - has seven black stripes spread diagonally on a section of the trunk’s blue base.
Nodding to releases from the past, the stripes represent the seven wards of the city of Kawasaki, and the shirt, with its black sleeves, will be combined with black shorts and socks as first choice in Japanese J1 League matches.
