Adidas and Liverpool FC have introduced the Liverpool adidas Special 95 Jersey, a blackout reinterpretation of the club’s 1995/96 away shirt. The release revisits one of Liverpool’s most recognisable mid 1990s kits, presenting the design in a monochrome colour scheme while retaining key historical details.
Part of the Bringback collection, the Liverpool Special 95 football shirt is finished entirely in dark tones, with the base fabric appearing in Black and Carbon. Subtle vertical striping runs throughout the shirt, recreated through a jacquard weave that mirrors the texture of the original mid-1990s adidas kit design. This tonal pattern continues across the sleeves and body, maintaining a consistent appearance across the garment.
A stand collar with a three button placket forms the neckline, reflecting the high collar construction used on the original 1995 Liverpool away jersey. The adidas logo appears on the right chest in a tonal finish, opposite the Liverpool crest, which is also rendered in monochrome detailing.
Across the centre of the shirt sits a darkened Carlsberg sponsor block, recreating the sponsor layout associated with Liverpool kits of the era while matching the blackout colour treatment used across the rest of the jersey. Adidas three stripes are integrated along the shoulders in a matching dark tone.
