This is the 1. FSV Mainz 05 Fastnachtstrikot - Carnival shirt - for 2023.
The new design, provided by Kappa, combines the segmented look of recent Mainz shirts with the multicoloured approach seen for these releases and also incorporates depictions of jesters and Mainz Cathedral in the jacquard.
The kit is completed with red shorts and four-coloured socks and a proportion of money made from sales will be used to fund cancer-related initiatives.
