Mainz 05 have unveiled their new Carnival kit for 2024, marking the first Carnival design by their new kit supplier, JAKO.
Reflecting the vibrant spirit of Mainz's Carnival, the kit showcases horizontal stripes in yellow, red, blue, and white – colours traditionally linked with the city's Carnival festivities. The design draws inspiration from the historical uniforms of the Mainzer Klepper-Garde 1856 e. V. Kleine.
Key design features include a jester hat motif on the neck and multi-coloured cuffs on the sleeves. This limited edition kit continues Mainz 05's tradition of celebrating Carnival.
The team is set to sport this special kit in their home match against Werder Bremen on Saturday, 3rd February, coinciding with Carnival match day.
