Málaga Club de Fútbol, who now play in Spain’s Primera Federación - Group 2 - have unveiled this new throwback Hummel shirt as part of their 120th-anniversary celebrations.
Styled like a version worn in the 1988-89 season - which saw a famous side pull on the sky-blue and white stripes - the collared release boasts a jacquard weave, a retro sponsor and the patch crest in full colour (and featuring the initials of the current club - MCF - rather than the then CD Málaga).
Near the hem is a special “120” shield - to celebrate the landmark anniversary of “CDM”’s 1904 birthday - and, on the shoulders and sleeves, Hummel’s iconic chevrons are present and correct.
