Adidas have unveiled the Mexico 2026 away kit, introducing a light-coloured alternate football shirt for international fixtures, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil.
The Mexico jersey features a white base combined with a subtle all-over grey graphic inspired by ‘Grecas’ patterns, found on traditional architecture and art. The repeating stepped motif references architectural forms found across Mexican heritage sites, including the Mitla archaeological site, applied across both the front and back of the shirt in a tonal finish.
The adidas trefoil logo appears on the right chest, paired with the Mexico national team crest on the left in a dark green execution. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs incorporate green and red detailing, while the three stripes run along the shoulders in matching tones, linking to the national colours.
On the reverse, the phrase “SOMOS MÉXICO” is positioned below the collar, reinforcing the identity of the national side. The shirt is constructed using lightweight jacquard fabric, with a textured surface visible across the body, supporting ventilation and ease of movement. adidas’ CLIMACOOL+ technology is integrated into the fabric, designed to manage moisture and maintain comfort in varying match conditions.
The Mexico football shirt is expected to be worn with green shorts and white socks, forming the full secondary kit for the Mexico national football team.
