Middlesbrough 2026-27 Away Kit by Castore Revealed

Middlesbrough 26/27 Castore Away Kit

Middlesbrough FC have revealed their 26/27 away kit by Castore for the club’s 150th anniversary season.

Middlesbrough 150th Anniversary Kit Design & Inspiration

The new Middlesbrough away shirt is inspired by what is believed to be the oldest surviving Boro shirt in existence. Its eggshell white base, blue detailing and polka dot trim reference the kit worn by Middlesbrough between 1886 and 1890, including the club’s first campaign in the Northern League.

Boro’s new crest appears on the left chest in a Blue Fog tone, with “150 Years” placed beneath it and Castore branding positioned on the right. Midnite is applied as the main shirt sponsor in Peacoat, with Telcoss appearing on the sleeve and Perco Foods positioned on the upper back.

A “150 Years” detail is featured below the rear neckline, while Castore-branded neck tape is included inside the collar. The shirt also features subtle geometric panelling and a textured fabric construction designed for lightweight wear and breathability.

Awfully awful, horribly horrible and terribly terrible, T shirts, no nod to a century and a half of what makes us the Boro, a chest band of white is recognisable by any other teams fans, are we Liverpool, Man U, Bristol City or Charlton. No, we are Boro, but these shirts are not. Criminal excuse to use up excess materials that were lying around, should have consulted the Boro fans, not Preston, Oxford or even Chelsea fans, I wanted so much to buy a special kit for the 150 years we have identified as Middlesbrough fc, but somehow our identity has been lost by some toddler playing with red, yellow, and blue crayons. Shame on the marketing team for allowing this to happen. Off to McDonalds now to get a Boro kit with chips in it.
