This is Montpellier Hérault Sport Club’s 2023 rainbow kit, unveiled to coincide with the global anti-homophobia day on 17th May.
The new special Nike Montpellier release is in white with a rainbow graphic running vertically down the centre of the trunk, with the crest adapted to match and partner logos in black.
Worn with Away shorts and socks to form a nominally all-white kit despite the colourfulness of the endeavour, the shirt (and the shorts) also featured rainbow numbers in the weekend match against Lorient, as did the kits of all other French Ligue 1 teams in their fixtures.
