Nagoya Grampus 2024 Mizuno Special Edition Shirt

Nagoya Grampus 2024 Mizuno Special Edition Shirt

To celebrate the fifth holding of Nagoya’s “Shachi Festival”, celebrating local culture, Japanese J1 League side Nagoya Grampus (“Eight”) have unveiled this Mizuno special-edition shirt.

The latest 2024 red release has stylings nodding to the "Kumokirimaru" sword and the front of the design is predominantly in a lighter tone than the back.

Trim and the modern crest (shieldless) are in gold, the kit - which will be worn in three games - will be completed with red shorts and complementing socks, partner/sponsor logos are largely in white and there is a black/greyscale goalkeeper version of the shirt too.

Overall it's fine. It doesn't really scream "special edition" to me. It'd be nice to see the pattern carry over to the back.
