The New Orleans Jesters have revealed their 2024 Admiral Home kit, which celebrates the city’s rich cultural heritage, including Mardi Gras.
This kit commemorates the first recorded soccer game in the United States, held 165 years ago in New Orleans in 1859, and honours the city as the birthplace of American soccer.
The jersey showcases the vibrant Mardi Gras colours of Peppermint Leaf, Mystical Grape, and Mardi Gras Gold, symbolising Justice, Faith, and Power respectively. The design also incorporates a pattern inspired by Harlequins and court jesters, reflecting the city's festive traditions and the DIY spirit of creating costumes from fabric scraps.
