Newcastle United has unveiled their new 22/23 Away kit by Castore.

Designed with a navy colourway and gold detailing, and adorned with a sleeve print inspired by the Leazes Stand, the away kit exists to celebrate the home of Newcastle United.

The Magpies' kits are crafted with Castore's blend of high-stretch fabrics, offering freedom of movement for players and supporters alike.

The 'Pro' edition, worn by the players, features a range of technological advancements, with exceptional materials and laser-cut ventilation to enhance performance on the pitch.

All adult shirts will feature Newcastle United's primary sponsor, FUN88, across the chest.

Did people watch the friendly game and have seen it on the pitch? Jersey looks amazing... I am not sure about sleeves vertical lines... doesnt look it belongs there. Everything else looks clean and symmetrical.

I think this design is unsure of what it wants to be. I mean it looks okay but the small lines on the sleeves look out of place with the rest of the design-they look like an afterthought.

Aside from the mediocre nature of the design, that sponsor’s logo is truly grotesque. Who would want to wear that on their chest? I guess those “loyal” fans who see no issue with their club being used to sports wash the reputation of human rights abusers.

This is just lazy Fat Dave. You can be a Newcastle fan and not be pleased with the contradiction of supporting your team and them being used as you say. There are countless thousands of us who feel conflicted about it. Fact is our team was there long before and long after the Saudis are involved. We can still support the team without supporting them. And to pretend supporting your football team is to support the owners (who you had no control over being in place) it's just baseless. It cheapens discussion the real issues you're mentioning to drag it back to petty football rivalries about 'support' and 'fans'. I'm a Newcastle fan, I support my team. I absolutely don't support human rights abuses. And I won't be buying this kit, not because of that but because it's butters, so we can agree on that.
