North Carolina Courage have unveiled their 2026 Nike Away Kit, known as the Venus Flytrap Become shirt, as part of the club’s matchwear range for the 2026 NWSL season.
The new North Carolina Courage jersey introduces a Blue Void base, covered with an all over tonal graphic inspired by the form of the Venus flytrap, a plant native to North Carolina. Flowing botanical shapes are reworked with sharper, angular detailing across the body and sleeves, creating a layered pattern in multiple shades of blue.
Pink accents feature prominently throughout the Nike shirt. The Nike Swoosh appears in pink on the right chest, positioned opposite the North Carolina Courage badge, which incorporates pink and green elements and two stars above. Pink detailing also runs along the sleeve cuffs in a jagged trim, while subtle green highlights are integrated into the crest and Swoosh.
The front of the shirt carries the Merz Aesthetics sponsor logo in white, continuing the partnership for 2026. A small Esse Quam Videri inscription is placed near the lower hem, referencing the state motto of North Carolina. Constructed using Nike performance fabric, the North Carolina Courage football shirt is completed with coordinating dark blue shorts and socks for NWSL fixtures at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park.
