Oakland Roots SC have unveiled their 2026 Home kit for the upcoming 2026 USL Championship season, produced by Charly as part of the club’s official matchwear range.
The new Oakland Roots jersey features a matte black base with a tonal ripple graphic flowing across the front and back panels. Integrated within the pattern is a large, shadowed illustration inspired by the Oak-ness Monster, sublimated into the fabric design. Its visibility shifts under changing light due to contrasting matte and gloss textures.
A black V collar is trimmed with fine silver detailing, matched by black sleeve cuffs. The Oakland Roots badge appears in full colour on the left chest, with the white Charly logo positioned opposite. The Anthem shirt sponsor features on the front of the jersey.
Additional detailing includes “Born of The Town” printed inside the collar and the geographic coordinates of Lake Merritt, 37°48'04.5"N 122°15'29.9"W, applied near the lower front hem alongside DRY FACTOR performance branding. On the reverse, ThredUp is placed above the name and number area, with Penumbra featured on the lower back. Ava Community Energy appears on the sleeve.
Constructed in Charly performance fabric, the new Oakland Roots football shirt will be paired with matching matte black shorts and socks to complete the full primary kit for the 2026 USL Championship campaign.
