Olympique Lyonnais 2022-23 Adidas Home Kit

This is the new Olympique Lyonnais Home shirt by adidas.

The French Ligue 1 side’s 2022-23 first-choice design is in white with a red-and-blue dual-stripe graphic running vertically down the centre of the trunk.

Said graphic - including a chevron effect to nod to designs of the past - is broken for the Fly Emirates branding, while the German manufacturer’s branding appears in red apart from the central of the three stripes on the shoulders.

The shirt, complete with full-colour crest and made from recycled materials, will form a kit with dedicated shorts and socks.

Probably the best effort of Adidas so far. Incorporating the club colours on the 3 shoulder stripes is good. Nice, clean cut kit and a sponsor that's not too overbearing.

Perhaps it's me, but all I see is an average shirt that isn't actually thrilling.
You can't go wrong with traditional designs and ones that have worked well before but this one just feels like it's stuck for ideas and it shows.

    I think it's a Mason. You're going for a Mark?

Hmm. As it's French I shall apply an old cliche and go with 'Pierre' Sacre Bleu!
