Palermo FC and Puma have unveiled their 26/27 Away kit, with the new shirt named “Zagara”.
Palermo Kit Design & Inspiration
Taking inspiration from Sicily’s citrus groves and the landscape surrounding Palermo, the new Palermo jersey features an all-over botanical graphic made up of citrus fruit, leaves and blossom. The pattern combines Canvas, Almost Apricot, Fresh Yellow and Orange Peach tones, referencing the citrus trees traditionally associated with the Palermo countryside and the area historically known as the Conca d’Oro.
Fresh Yellow is also used for the crew-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. The Puma logo and Palermo eagle crest are positioned on opposite sides of the chest in black, with Sicily by Car appearing as the main front sponsor in the same colour.
The Palermo football shirt continues the graphic across the sleeves and back, with PALERMO lettering placed beneath the rear collar. Etihad Airways branding is positioned across the lower back, and a small circular detail appears close to the front hem.
Named after the zagara, the blossom produced by citrus trees, the shirt forms part of the club’s “Sicilia, in tutti i sensi” campaign and follows recent Palermo kits that have referenced different elements of Sicilian culture and landscape.
Technical Features
The regular-fit shirt incorporates Puma dryCELL moisture-management technology and is produced from recycled polyester. RE:FIBRE technology is also used in its construction, with Puma stating that the material contains at least 95% recycled textile waste.
Full Palermo Away Kit details
The new Palermo football shirt is paired with light cream shorts featuring contrasting Fresh Yellow side panels, with the club crest and additional sponsor branding applied in black. Matching pale yellow socks complete the full Away strip, incorporating black horizontal bands around the upper section and PALERMO lettering on the shin.
