Montevideo-based Club Atlético Peñarol, of the Uruguayan Primera División, have unveiled their 2025 Puma Third shirt, a golden design honouring the club’s heritage.
The new Puma kit pays tribute to Peñarol’s origins, referencing gold to complement the coal-inspired alternate kit released earlier, symbolising the club’s deep railway roots.
The shirt features subtle vertical stripes on a golden base, with all detailing including the Puma logo, club crest, and sponsors presented in black. Standout design elements include “1891” at the back of the neck, and a stylised “CURCC” on the lower front hem, a nod to the club’s original name, Central Uruguay Railway Cricket Club. The right sleeve also carries a golden badge reading Campeón del Siglo (Champion of the Century), reinforcing Peñarol’s decorated legacy.
