Peñarol and Puma have unveiled the Peñarol 2026 Third Kit, a new alternative strip for the 2026 Liga AUF Uruguaya season.
Peñarol Kit Design & Inspiration
Inspired by Pinerolo, the Italian city linked to the origin of the club’s name, the new Peñarol jersey features a dark navy base combined with deep teal zigzag graphics running across the front and shoulders.
Gold detailing is used throughout the design, including the Puma logos, sponsor branding and club crest elements. The shirt also incorporates a black fold-over polo collar with a cream insert at the neckline, alongside matching cream sleeve cuffs.
The Peñarol crest appears in a monochrome gold and black execution on the chest, while the upper back includes “Pinerolo” wording beneath the collar as a reference to the Italian connection behind Club Atlético Peñarol’s identity. A commemorative emblem linked to the Pinerolo inspiration also appears within the launch presentation.
The Puma football shirt includes sponsor branding from Antel on the front and BBVA on the sleeves, with additional branding on the reverse. The rear of the shirt continues the dark navy and teal colour combination used on the front panels.

Designed for the 2026 Uruguayan football season, the Peñarol 2026 third kit is expected to be worn alongside coordinating black shorts and socks as part of the club’s alternative matchday collection.
