Shirt is nice and presentable but the shorts and socks are generic nothings just making up the numbers.

Not the best by any chance,it's Nike and they really only do 'new' stuff if you are a big club.
The best you can say about this is that it is a proper round neck collar and that it is almost back to Pompey's royal blue colour not the light blue hue.
It is our 125th anniversary and so I hope our away and third kits will be more inspirational.

I hate Nike too. Overpriced rubbish. Templates for everyone unless your are Barca etc.

have the "comments" sections for kit releases recently been taken over by our AI overlords? things seem to have become real strange in here.

Yes, I’d say more like liberal 17th century poets or something weird along those lines.

The shirt is transverse in its simplicity. It devours intent but lays a scent trail for serendipity. Still it yearns for acceptance with an almost childlike, whimsical notion of stature and acceptance. The shorts, although subjective whisper threats of allogeneic, hypnotic overtures that tease and tantalise. The blood red socks compliment and ridicule the other garments in equal measure. They shift discord and fiscal craving without breaking stride. I'm enchanted and horrified at the same time. Will I buy it? Who knows, let the Gods decide when doomsday is upon us.

In senses where they insist on themselves I see your marginalised woe. However, sincs scent is subject to sensual manipulation, the consequence of feelings may not duplicate in others. You are spot on about the red socks though, they do ridicule and compliment like a middle child in need of a mother's affection and acceptance. Sexual.

Simple and sophisticated at the same time.

It reminds me of a few recent Cowdenbeath kits (2014/2015/2021) with the collar and detailing.

A dandy of a shirt for some, a little disappointing for others. If you like simplicity, then you probably like this. However, if, like me, you were eagerly awaiting Portsmouth to take a stand on the latest SJW thing (Trans rights, duh) then you'll be violently angry with patriarchial Portsmouth.

PORTSMOUTH: silence is violence. Your lack of a rainbow-themed kit will lead to violence against the Trans community on the south coast.

I, and my followers, will NOT be buying your toxic shirt nor season tickets or executive suites until equity is served.

@Wessex Wessex, wear something rainbow coloured, you crazy rebel!

I'm a Pompey fan and most of my fellow Pompey fans are like me...rainbow kits are not to be bought. If you'd call us bigots...we don't give a f@ck.
