Portsmouth FC have released their first ever limited edition Mash-Up Shirt, combining elements from several of the club’s most recognisable historical kits into one design.
The shirt brings together features from the 1987 to 1989 home shirt, which serves as the central motif, and incorporates patterns from the 1991 to 1993 home shirt, famously worn in the FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool. Design cues from the 1997 to 1999 away shirt are also present, alongside panels referencing the 2002 to 2003 third shirt worn during the club’s Division One title-winning season.
The FA Cup winning shirt is highlighted along the right-hand side of the jersey, while other references include the 1989 to 1991 home kit, the 1983 to 1985 away kit, and the 1993 to 1995 away kit. The shirt is finished with the iconic South Coast Fiat sponsor graphic, as seen in earlier eras, and features a club crest in gold and blue.
