Portsmouth FC have unveiled their 26/27 Away kit by Nike, which will be used during the 2026-27 EFL Championship season.
Portsmouth Kit Design & Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the yellow and blue shirts worn by Pompey between 1997 and 1999, the new Portsmouth jersey uses a bright yellow base with a tonal abstract graphic applied across the front and lower section of the back. Royal blue provides the contrasting colour, appearing on the sleeve cuffs, neckline and mesh side panels.
Nike’s Swoosh is embroidered in blue on the right side of the chest, opposite a blue and yellow Portsmouth crest. The University of Portsmouth logo is positioned across the front in blue, with MG Richmond branding applied to the sleeve in the same colour.
Further detailing appears on the rear, where the Pompey wordmark provides a subtle nod to the 1998-99 Away shirt. Neutonic branding is positioned underneath in blue. The upper back uses a ventilated mesh construction, with the tonal graphic returning towards the lower section of the shirt.
Technical Features
The shirt is produced using Nike Dri-FIT fabric, designed to move sweat away from the body. Royal blue mesh panels running down each side are included to increase ventilation.
Full Pompey Away Kit details
Paired with the new Portsmouth football shirt are royal blue shorts, featuring the club crest on one leg and a white Nike Swoosh on the other. White socks complete the full away strip, with a blue Nike Swoosh positioned on the shin.
