RC Lens and Puma have unveiled the Racing Lens 2025/26 Sainte Barbe kit, a special release linked to the club’s 120th anniversary and its historic connection to the mining communities of northern France. Revealed ahead of the Sainte Barbe commemorations, the Racing Lens football shirt reflects the values of solidarity, courage and collective memory that continue to shape the identity of the club and its region.
The Puma shirt introduces a deep blue base, referencing the traditional workwear worn by coal miners. A red collar draws from historical miner clothing, while gold detailing is used across the crest, sponsor and branding elements. A commemorative crest marks the club’s 120 year milestone and appears alongside a graphic symbol inspired by mining heritage.
The launch photography brings together former miners and Racing Lens players at the Centre Historique Minier in Lewarde, highlighting the passing of values between generations. For the first time, the Racing Lens women’s team play a central role in the Sainte Barbe reveal and were the first to wear the shirt in competition, paired with deep blue shorts and socks.
Designed for supporter wear, the replica version mirrors the match shirt and is produced using Puma dry CELL technology to support breathability and temperature regulation. The shirt is manufactured using Puma RE FIBRE recycling technology and contains at least 95 percent recycled textile materials, allowing fibres to be reused multiple times without loss of quality.
