The plain back panel is to see the number and name easily.
Agree that the back panel should not be blue as the home kit, orange then.

Don't like central badge, or the plain back(orange rather than navy back would have been better) or Castore. Everything they do somehow looks such poor quality and cheap except maybe their Newcastle kits this year

A missed opportunity. With so much of the kit blue, they will struggle to wear in matches against other teams in blue. Should have kept the stripes on the back.
