Reading FC 2022-23 Macron Away Kit

Reading FC have revealed their new 22/23 Away kit by Macron.

The rose quartz away strip puts our world’s changing temperature in focus. Inspired by the University of Reading-designed climate stripes for the Berkshire region, the away shirt boasts a monochrome design.

The lightest shades, near to the collar, represent cooler-than-average temperatures in the club's region a century and a half ago… and the darkest shades, towards the waist, reveal the rising temperatures in recent years.

And just like the home shirt, the new away shirt is made from Eco-Fabric – entirely manufactured from recycled plastic bottles: an innovation undertaken by Official Technical Partner as part of their ‘Macron 4 The Planet’ campaign, which is committed to introducing new eco-sustainable products to the market.

The darkest shades revealing the rising temperatures in recent years? **** right, it's paying homage to the most extreme heatwaves ever recorded in Reading this summer. Lol 😂🤣😂!!!

I think the real inspiration was looking into a large strawberry milkshake after it had been slowly drunk, the tide marks on the side of the paper cup rather than any climate change stuff.

So pleased to hear the temperature in Berkshire is getting to catch up with the rest of the country . Feel sorry for all those polar bears though !!! What on earth is that rubbish all about ? Darkershades towards the waist and shorts are black , must be really hot down there 😁

Forgot to mention , well done to the students at Reading University . Great effort designing stripes for a football shirt sleeves . They will all go a long way in life . Wonder how many it took ?

With the black shorts, that's a fantastic kit.

Only marks off for the socks not being the darker red colour or else it'd be 6 * from me.
