Adidas has released the Real Madrid EQT Jersey, a football-inspired lifestyle shirt referencing the visual language of the brand’s Equipment era.
The new Real Madrid jersey uses a predominantly white base with tonal vertical striping running across the front, back and short sleeves. Contrasting purple and black panels are positioned across the shoulders and upper sleeves, separated by white sections that form a geometric EQT-style arrangement.
A wide white collar with a V-shaped opening completes the neckline, with a black adidas wordmark and Trefoil positioned below. The full-colour Real Madrid crest is positioned centrally underneath, leaving the remainder of the front free from sponsor branding.
The purple and black shoulder sections have a slightly reflective finish that contrasts with the tonal striped fabric used through the body. The same panel configuration continues across the rear shoulders, with the back otherwise retaining the white vertical stripe treatment.
Produced with an engineered knit construction, the new Real Madrid football shirt has a regular fit designed for everyday wear. Its short sleeves have a loose cut, with the EQT-inspired panel structure extending from the upper body into the sleeve design.
The release forms part of the latest adidas Originals x Real Madrid lifestyle range, which also includes a half-zip top, tracksuit top, down jacket, T-shirt, sweatshirt and track pants, all drawing on elements associated with 1990s Equipment apparel.
