Richmond Kickers have unveiled their 2026 Away Kit, produced by hummel for the club’s upcoming 2026 USL League One season. The strip, titled the “Give Me Liberty Kit”, connects the club to a defining moment in Richmond’s history and references Patrick Henry’s famous speech delivered at the Second Virginia Convention in the city.
Dark blue vertical stripes form the base of the new Richmond Kickers jersey, with a tonal pattern integrated into the fabric. Within these stripes, fragments of Henry’s historic speech are subtly incorporated into the design across the body of the shirt. Red trim appears on the collar and sleeve cuffs, creating contrast against the darker base.
Positioned on the chest is the Richmond Kickers badge in red, applied opposite the hummel logo and wordmark. Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods appears as the front of shirt sponsor in red lettering. The collar uses a cross over construction, and the inside neck tape carries the line “One lamp by which my feet are guided”, referencing a passage from Henry’s speech.
A circular jock tag near the hem features the phrase “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” surrounding a football and crossed bones motif. On the upper back, a secondary “Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches” mark appears beneath the collar. Richmond-based partners also appear on the new new Richmond Kickers football shirt, including Bon Secours, Nightingale Ice Cream and Las Abogadas RVA, which is completed with matching dark blue shorts and socks featuring red accents.
