This is the new Club Atlético River Plate away - or “Alternativa” - shirt from adidas.
Nodding to a famous change design from the mid-1990s, the release has a spiky graphical look that incorporates Argentine champions River’s white, black and red - with the lattermost featuring most prominently.
The shield-based crest is in full colour and the Primera División giants’ "GRANDEZA" (“greatest”) nickname is present and correct on the upper back of a shirt that forms a kit with red shorts and tri-colour socks.
