This is the new River Plate away kit for the 25/26 season, produced by adidas and set to be worn during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The design marks the 50th anniversary of the club’s 1975 Metropolitan Championship title.
The shirt features vertical red and black stripes, drawing inspiration from the iconic hot air balloon used in the 1975 title celebrations. A white v-neck collar and sleeve cuffs provide contrast, while red adidas shoulder stripes and black piping round out the design.
The River Plate crest sits on the left chest opposite the adidas logo, with Betano as the main sponsor and Assist Card on the sleeve. The back of the collar includes a stylised “River Plate” label.
The full kit is completed with red shorts that include the club badge and adidas branding, and black socks with red and white trim.
