To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dutch side Sportvereniging Roda Juliana Combinatie Kerkrade (Roda JC) winning the Eerste Divisie championship and securing promotion to the Eredivisie, they wore a retro inspired shirt in their last-gasp derby win against MVV Maastricht on Sunday.
Aping the style from a half-century ago, the 2023-24 new white design is embellished with yellow vertical stripes trimmed with black and the club crest in full colour but, in another nod to the past, no partner logos aside from that of supplier Kipsta.
The Decathlon-owned brand also provided matching white shorts and socks to complete the kit.
