Royal Antwerp 2023 Jako Wembley Shirt

Royal Antwerp 2023 Jako Wembley Shirt

This Royal Antwerp Football Club shirt, to be worn in the Belgian side’s final four Jupiler Pro League games this season, is a throwback to the 1992-93 season.

Particularly referencing the run to the European Cup Winners’ Cup Final - at the old Wembley Stadium, hence the billing - the red Jako release is heavily influenced with Umbro stylings from the equivalent worn 30 years ago.

Complete with full-colour crest, white and black embellishments and a “1993-2023” detail on the back of the collar, the shirt will form a kit with complementing shorts and socks.

Not a fan of Jako, they always make the shirts look so cheap.

The Umbro comparisons caught my eye before I read how it is inspired by their past designs. You can call it both a homage and a rip off easily.
Unfortunately, it looks a little bit cheap on quality to me.

I'd counter some sentiments here and say that they and Macron have really been getting things right lately. This Antwerp design is definitely a winner as well.
