AFC Rushden & Diamonds have introduced their 2026-29 third kit, produced by Macron, as a commemorative release linked to the club’s historical roots.
Rushden & Diamonds Kit Design & Inspiration
The new AFC Rushden & Diamonds jersey commemorates 80 years since the founding of Irthlingborough Diamonds F.C. in 1946, referencing early club identity through its construction and detailing.
Featuring a quartered design, the shirt splits red and navy across the front and reverse, with contrasting sleeves maintaining the same visual structure. A fold-over collar in navy adds a traditional element, with a short button placket integrated into the neckline.
Gold detailing is applied throughout the shirt. The Macron logo appears on the right chest, while the AFC Rushden & Diamonds crest is positioned on the left in a tonal gold finish. Sleeve cuffs incorporate subtle trim detailing, maintaining consistency with the overall colour palette.
Technical Features
The shirt is constructed from a lightweight polyester fabric, designed for match use and regular fit wear. Panel construction across the sides and underarms supports movement, while the material provides breathability during play.
