AS Saint-Étienne and Hummel have unveiled the 2025 Sainte-Barbe Jersey, a special edition design created in collaboration with Léa Bourgier, a Saint Étienne based stylist. The Hummel release pays tribute to the city’s mining heritage and the annual Sainte-Barbe celebration honouring the patron saint of miners.
The long sleeve Saint-Étienne jersey is produced in a dark navy colour reminiscent of traditional workwear and features a polo collar with a two button placket. White cuffs appear at the sleeve ends, while a chest pocket houses an embroidered ASSE crest presented in a gold tonal style. A second emblem showing crossed tools is positioned on the right chest, referencing historic mining symbols associated with the region.
Further detailing includes a small Sainte-Barbe mark placed below the rear collar, again using a gold thread that matches the front applications. The textured fabric construction gives the jersey a structured appearance suitable for casual wear and supporter use. The shaped hem and extended sleeves complete the layout.
This Sainte-Barbe Jersey is intended exclusively for supporters and contributes to cultural funding across Saint Etienne. Part of the profits will be directed to organisations involved in preserving local mining history and coordinating public events, including the Sainte-Barbe association and Les Amis du Musée de la Mine.
