Italian Serie A side Unione Sportiva Salernitana 1919 this week took to the field in a special Valentine’s Day shirt in their home defeat to Juventus.
The new 2023 Zeus release for Salernitana boasted, beyond their recognisable garnet colouring, Saint Valentine-centric imagery including the form of the seahorse emblem made up of hearts.
The upper back of the shirt, which was combined with the standard home shorts and socks to form a kit, featured a brightly coloured panel carrying the words "innamoràti, innamòrati" in reference to the falling in love associated with the occasion.
