Sampdoria have released a special edition shirt to mark 40 years since winning their first major trophy, the Coppa Italia in 1985.
The Macron shirt recreates the design of the era, featuring a blue base with the classic white, red, and black horizontal bands across the chest, the club badge at the centre, and the tricolour badge on the chest.
Details include the date 3 luglio 1985 embroidered on the neck and a special logo on the hem marking its place in the limited run of 500 pieces. The shirt is presented in a collector’s box.
The limited-edition release honours the team led by Eugenio Bersellini, who defeated Milan in a two-legged final, beginning a cycle of success under president Paolo Mantovani.
