San Jose Earthquakes have unveiled their 26/27 adidas Away kit, known as the Grateful Dead Kit, referencing the Bay Area music scene and incorporating Grateful Dead elements into the secondary strip for the 2026 and 2027 MLS seasons.
The new San Jose Earthquakes jersey features a light blue (Blue Dawn) base combined with a swirling tie dye graphic in shades of blue and soft pink across the front and sleeves. The back panel remains largely plain in pale blue, creating space for name and number application. Black adidas shoulder stripes run from the collar to the sleeve edge.
A crew neck collar in light blue with dark trim completes the neckline. The adidas logo appears in black on the right chest, opposite the San Jose Earthquakes badge in a monochrome finish. The El Camino Health shirt sponsor is placed centrally in black.
Inside the collar, Grateful Dead wording is visible, while a Steal Your Face inspired skull graphic is applied near the lower hem. The shirt is manufactured using adidas Climacool fabric technology, designed to enhance breathability and moisture management during match play. The new San Jose Earthquakes football shirt is completed with matching light blue shorts and socks to form the full away kit for the next two Major League Soccer seasons.
