Sanfrecce Hiroshima have unveiled their Nike Away kit for the 2026-27 J1 League season, introducing an all-silver colour scheme inspired by one of Hiroshima’s cultural traditions.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima Kit Design & Inspiration
The design draws on the silver surfaces of the griddles and spatulas associated with Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, a local dish that became an important source of nourishment during the city’s post-war reconstruction. The concept also references the region’s steel industry, linking the club’s new away strip to elements of Hiroshima’s history and identity.
The new Sanfrecce Hiroshima jersey features a light silver base with a subtle tonal texture woven into the fabric. A minimalist crew neck construction is paired with matching silver sleeves and body panels, creating a uniform appearance across the garment.
Club and manufacturer branding are applied in Hiroshima Violet, including the Nike Swoosh and the Sanfrecce Hiroshima crest, while the five stars above the badge are rendered in gold. The EDION sponsor logo introduces blue and orange detailing across the centre of the shirt, with additional sponsor marks appearing in complementary colours.

The accompanying the new Sanfrecce Hiroshima football shirt continues the silver theme with matching shorts featuring violet Nike branding and blue sponsor graphics. Silver socks complete the look, incorporating violet horizontal hoops below the knee and additional Nike detailing.
