Scotland’s 2026 adidas away kit has been unveiled ahead of the national team’s return to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, introducing a scarlet red shirt that references earlier change strips from past decades.
The new Scotland jersey is presented in a Trace Scarlet colourway, featuring fine vertical purple pinstripes running throughout the body. The adidas Trefoil logo appears on the right chest, paired with the Scotland crest on the left.
The shirt uses a V-neck collar construction with purple and white trim, matched by coordinating sleeve cuffs. Three white adidas stripes sit along the shoulders.
Additional detailing includes a woven fabric structure across the front and back panels, with ventilation zones visible in key areas. Inside the collar, a thistle emblem is applied as a sign-off element, referencing national identity. The rear of the shirt continues the pinstripe pattern with a clean layout, maintaining consistency across the design.
The new Scotland football shirt is paired with matching shorts and socks to form a full change strip, set to be worn during international fixtures, including the team’s return to the FIFA World Cup finals for the first time since 1998.
