Seattle Sounders FC have unveiled The Salish Sea Kit, the club’s secondary jersey for the 2025-26 MLS seasons.
Part of the Community Kit collection, the adidas design is inspired by the waters of the Pacific Northwest and Coast Salish weaving traditions. The geometric pattern, created in collaboration with Indigenous artists from the Puyallup, Muckleshoot, and Suquamish Tribes, is influenced by traditional twilling and twining weaving techniques, symbolising resilience, connection, and heritage. The Aurora Ink and Seafoam Green hues reflect the Salish Sea, a vital part of the region’s ecosystem.
The jersey highlights the artistry of Connie McCloud (Puyallup Tribe), Gail White Eagle (Muckleshoot Tribe), and Danielle Morsette (Suquamish Tribe), brought together by Coast Salish artist Louie Gong (Nooksack Tribe). Their work brings Coast Salish traditions to a global stage, making The Salish Sea Kit a tribute to both cultural heritage and environmental stewardship. The shirt is completed with Aurora Ink shorts and socks, forming the full kit for the upcoming season.
