Sheffield Wednesday Football Club and Umbro have unveiled the Sheffield Wednesday 26/27 Away kit ahead of the 2026–27 EFL League One season.
Sheffield Wednesday Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Sheffield Wednesday jersey takes inspiration from the club’s 1992–93 away strip, using yellow as the primary colour with black and white detailing throughout. Narrow vertical black stripes, each divided by a fine white line, extend across the front, shoulders, sides and back.
A yellow V-neck collar completes the neckline, with the Umbro Double Diamond positioned in black on the right side of the chest. The club’s owl crest and SWFC lettering appear opposite in a coordinated black finish.
Fibrely continues as the principal shirt sponsor, with its black logo placed across the centre of the jersey. Wolf Competitions branding is applied to the sleeve. The word “OWLS” is positioned beneath the rear collar, adding a club-specific detail to the back of the shirt.
The vertical striping follows a curved route around the upper body before continuing towards the hem. The central section of the back remains yellow between the black and white lines, providing space for squad names and numbers.

Matching yellow shorts are paired with the new Sheffield Wednesday football shirt. Yellow socks featuring a wide black band around the upper cuff and black Umbro branding on the shin complete the full strip, the second release following Umbro’s return as the club’s official technical partner.
