Shrewsbury Town have revealed their 26/27 Home kit by Oxen Sports, with the shirt returning to the navy and white colours worn by the club in its earliest years.
Shrewsbury Town Kit Design & Inspiration
Released for the club’s 140th anniversary, the new Shrewsbury Town jersey references the formation of the club in 1886, when representatives from early amateur sides in Shropshire helped establish Shrewsbury Town Football Club. The navy and white colour scheme refers to the first strip worn by the newly formed side.
It has a deep navy base with white trim on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. A retro-style Shrewsbury Town crest appears on the left chest, with the Oxen logo placed opposite in white. Shropshire Homes continues as the main shirt sponsor, while additional sponsor branding appears on the sleeve and upper back.
The shirt also includes darker blue side panels, raglan-style shoulder construction, and a straight hem. Internal neck detailing features repeated Oxen Sports branding, and the back of the jersey keeps a plain navy finish below the upper sponsor print.
