Adidas and Sporting Kansas City have revealed the team's primary jersey for the 2023 and 2014 MLS seasons, named the Hoops 4.0 Kit.
The new Hoops 4.0 kit builds on previous versions of the hoops kit worn by the team, including those in 2014-15, 2016-17, and 2021-22.
The latest jersey features thin Dark Indigo horizontal stripes, reminiscent of the memorable kits worn in 2016-17, and Dark Indigo trim around the neck, sleeves, and sides. The Sporting Blue shorts and socks complement the new primary jersey and can be interchanged with Dark Indigo shorts or socks.

The authentic kits have specialised elements on both the interior and exterior of the back neck. Above the player's name and number is an interlocking argyle SKC, a custom included in Sporting kit designs.
Additionally, the neck tape in the inside of the kits displays the club motto "Paint The Wall" and the year 2013 in honour of Sporting's MLS Cup victory and the tradition of painting the championship wall at Children's Mercy Park.
