Stade Rennais 125th Anniversary Jersey

Stade Rennais 125th Anniversary Jersey

Stade Rennais and Puma have released a special 125th Anniversary jersey celebrating the club’s founding on 10 March 1901. Created as part of the anniversary campaign “Il était une foi” (Once upon a time), the shirt honours the history of the Breton club and the players who have contributed to its identity across more than a century.

The new Stade Rennais jersey is presented in a deep burgundy base colour, a tone closely associated with the club. Across the body of the shirt, a tonal pattern features handwritten style inscriptions of notable figures from the club’s past. A key detail of the commemorative release is the return of the historic club crest first used in 1901. Positioned on the chest, the retro badge replaces the modern emblem for this edition. Opposite the crest sits the Puma logo, while the main shirt sponsor Samsic appears in a light metallic tone across the centre of the shirt.

A classic collar and structured shoulder construction define the shirt’s silhouette. Additional sponsors appear on the match version, including Hellio Work on the chest and Ela near the lower front, while Winamax and Blot are positioned on the back of the jersey.

Alongside the standard short-sleeve match shirt, Stade Rennais and Puma have produced a limited edition long-sleeve collector’s version. Only 1901 numbered pieces of the burgundy long sleeve shirt have been released, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The new Stade Rennais football shirt is scheduled to be worn by the team during their Ligue 1 fixture against Lille OSC at Roazhon Park, paired with matching burgundy shorts and socks to form the full kit.
