Sunderland AFC have unveiled their official 2025 Remembrance Shirt, created in partnership with Hummel to honour the Armed Forces and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The limited-edition shirt features a subtle grey tonal pattern inspired by the Eleven-O-One statue in Seaham, also known as the Tommy Statue. The tribute artwork forms part of the fabric design, paying homage to the region’s wartime heritage and its connection to remembrance.
Details include the Sunderland club crest and Hummel logo in red on the chest, while the phrase “Lest We Forget” appears beneath the back collar. The shirt also incorporates Hummel’s signature chevrons on the shoulders.
Proceeds from sales will support three local charities: The Red Bench Project, Veterans for Veterans in Care, and East Durham Veterans. The first team will wear the Remembrance Shirt during their warm-up ahead of the dedicated Remembrance fixture against Arsenal at the Stadium of Light.
