Sunderland A.F.C. have unveiled a special Sunderland St Patricks Day Fan Top, celebrating the club’s long-standing links with Ireland and its Irish supporter base as part of a wider themed collection.
The Sunderland shirt is presented in two tones of green, arranged in alternating vertical stripes across the front, back and sleeves. Each stripe incorporates a tonal Celtic inspired pattern, creating layered surface detail across the body. The collar is fold over in dark green, finished with gold and white trim, and matched by coordinating sleeve cuffs.
On the chest, a monochrome Sunderland crest appears in green and gold, positioned opposite a gold shamrock emblem. Inside the collar, additional detailing references the club identity, while a woven label is applied at the lower hem.
The release reflects Sunderland’s historic ties to Ireland, strengthened over the years by figures such as Niall Quinn, who played a key role in reinforcing the connection between Wearside and Irish football culture.
