Sutton United Football Club, the south-London side currently playing in the EFL’s League Two, have unveiled this limited-edition shirt.
The new 2024 release is in “aubergine” and pink and sales of the O’Neills design will fund donations to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, born of the now two-sited hospital that, in 1851, was opened as the world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.
Featuring a human genome (DNA) helix pattern, the shirt will be combined with complementing shorts and socks in the 23rd March 2024 home match against Accrington Stanley and it may be promoted to “Away shirt” status in 2024-25.
