Tottenham Hotspur have released a special edition 1901 commemorative kit for 2026, produced by Nike to mark 125 years since the club’s historic FA Cup triumph.
The Tottenham Hotspur football shirt references the era in which Spurs became the only non-league club to win the FA Cup. A heritage crest is applied to the chest, while all sponsor and manufacturer markings appear in tonal Lilywhite. Player surnames are omitted from the reverse, leaving only squad numbers, reflecting match shirts worn at the turn of the 20th century.
Manufactured using modern Nike performance fabric, the shirt incorporates lightweight construction while maintaining a traditional long sleeve silhouette. Subtle detailing is present throughout, including period-inspired typography and a commemorative internal sign-off referencing the 1901 FA Cup Final.
A limited release of 1901 individually numbered shirts has been produced for retail. Each shirt is presented in a premium collector box containing a certificate of authenticity, a replica 1901 match ticket, player cards, branded tissue paper and a wax sealed presentation finish. Match worn shirts from the fixture will be auctioned, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
The launch is supported by a short film titled Carved From Our History, centred on a sculpted marble interpretation of the 1901 shirt, created by artist Alasdair Thomson. The Spurs 1901 kit will be worn by the Men’s First Team during the FA Cup Third Round fixture against Aston Villa and forms part of a wider anniversary programme.
