Union Berlin 2023-24 Adidas Home kit

Union Berlin 2023-24 Adidas Home kit

This is the new 1. FC Union Berlin Home shirt from adidas.

Featuring a depiction of the crush barriers from the German Bundesliga side’s Stadion An der Alten Försterei home ground as an embossed pattern, the 2023-24 release is otherwise relatively simple, with a full-colour crest, the supplier’s branding in white and a neat button-up collar.

The logo of new main sponsor Paramount+ also appears in white and the kit will be completed with white shorts and red socks.

Really smart. The Paramount+ sponsor is one of the more aesthetic ones in football, and doesn’t take away from the overall vibe of the shirt.

Chelsea had lined them up as a sponsor but the FA rejected it, something to do with a competitor to Paramount have US TV rights to the prem.

Ridiculous reason, you see other banks to Barclays etc sponsor teams along with competing companies for all other FA partners.

Oh yeah, it’s 100% ridiculous. Imagine if teams weren’t allowed Adidas or Puma kits because Nike is one of the lead PL sponsors. It would never happen!
