Club Universitario de Deportes and Marathon have unveiled a special 2025 edition jersey honouring El Señor de los Milagros (The Lord of Miracles), a symbol of devotion deeply rooted in Peruvian culture and followed by many of the club’s supporters. The release celebrates faith, tradition, and unity through the shared message “La fe nos une”.
The commemorative shirt by Marathon features a bone-coloured base with subtle violet details throughout, including the trim on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. Its fabric incorporates an intricate all-over pattern referencing stained-glass windows, highlighting crosses and geometric motifs linked to Lima’s Señor de los Milagros procession. The club crest and Marathon logo appear in purple, maintaining the same theme across the detailing.
Additional touches include the phrase El Señor de los Milagros applied on the back of the neck, a small emblem near the lower hem, and violet ornamental patterns on the sleeve cuffs. The shirt is made using Marathon’s Hidrotec performance fabric technology.
